This role manages $3B+ in diverse supplier spend, supports $1B+ in RFPs for North America and serves as the subject matter expert for supplier diversity across Sodexo, SodexoMagic, and Entegra. The Director will develop and execute supplier diversity strategies, establishing KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to grow inclusive procurement. They will also manage certification tracking and integration of 3,000+ diverse suppliers into first- and second-tier supply chains.
You will support the buyer (m/f/x) in processing orders and ensuring the timely delivery of fruit and vegetables. You also will enjoy communicating with suppliers to confirm orders and delivery dates and resolve any issues that arise. Monitoring stock levels and informing the buyer (m/f/x) about stock levels in order to avoid shortages or excess stock is your responsibility.
The raw material buyer is responsible for procuring the materials needed for production, which involves sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory and ensuring a continuous supply of materials while optimizing costs and maintaining quality standards. This role includes identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, building long-term partnerships and managing supplier performance.
